Our Story
To say Jacob Hadjigeorgis is fond of the Upper West Side would be a vast understatement. While a student at The Dwight School, he developed a great appreciation for the neighborhood. In 2011, it came time for him to open his first restaurant, and Jacob knew where to go: Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

I love the warmth and charm of it-think buttermilk fried chicken, served on top of a biscuit drizzled with clover honey, then topped with our Hot Sour pickles. It's food that makes you smile.”

Launched in 2011, Jacob’s Pickles has quickly become a New York staple for those in search of a good meal. Warm and inviting, friends travel daily to its doors on the Upper West Side for a taste of home, something more than just another trending hotspot.
This is a place where faces light up when the plate arrives, where people feel relaxed and excited to try new and old favorites. It is a space where our customers feel at home. Our flagship UWS location is now officially at a brand new space on 680 Columbus Ave just 9 blocks north from the original.
Jacob's Pickles has since become a smash hit at Time Out Market and is proud to be a top vendor in historic Dumbo, Brooklyn as well as operate its second quick service outpost as part of the Moynihan Food Hall.
In 2023, Jacob's Pickles embarked on its second full service restaurant in South Norwalk, CT as part of the SoNo Collection where it now stands as an impressive event space and hub for delicious food and community engagement.
Maison Pickle is a retro-chic eatery offering French dip sandwiches, steaks & other American bites & cocktails. The restaurant also serves fascinating wines, artisanal beers, and desserts made from an in-house pastry department. The ambience reflects the charm of the Upper West Side- an elegant yet comfortable environment.
In 2016 we had a wonderful opportunity to revive a landmark space on Broadway and continue the tradition of timeless dining experiences on the Upper West Side. Maison Pickle was designed to evoke elegance and glamour yet still echo the legacy of the American diner. We pay homage to the space's former resident, Ouest, the Upper West Side pioneer of fine dining frequented by artists, writers and performers. Our hope was to create a timeless experience.
Emanating from the most beautiful and captivating parts of the sugar cane producing world comes the silhouette of a Tiki Chick. A fun and rum loving free spirit who can be spotted reveling in Zombie’s and Piña Coladas alike. She has inhabited every corner of her new paradise giving it a homey yet equatorial touch suited for the enjoyment of anyone who enters. Someone, you can, and should, get to know through the anecdotes and quotes adorning the pages of a beachwood inspired menu.
The culmination of fun and free spirit emerged as Tiki Chick in 2019 serving as a staple UWS bar serving up delicious tropical cocktails and iconic $5 chicken sandwiches.
